The Lottery needs to ensure a positive customer experience for ticket winners and manage the operational execution of Lottery drawings efficiently and reliably.

Requirements

  • Quickly becoming proficient with the gaming vendor terminals and Dashboard software.
  • Quickly mastering the game rules for the Rhode Island Lottery and MUSL games.
  • Supervising the validation process for various Lottery game tickets, i.e., draw, instant and on-line game tickets, track unclaimed high tier prices, assist with promotions, complete daily cash reconciliations, etc.
  • Monitoring drawings and transactions daily, coordinating with various internal and external parties when necessary.
  • Distribution of various reports daily.
  • Maintenance of drawing procedures for various Lottery games.
  • Responding to customer emails regarding various product issues related to drawings, on-line Lottery accounts, and iLottery product questions.

Other

  • This position is an integral member of the Lottery’s team and is responsible for the customer experience when they cash a winning ticket at the Lottery headquarters or email the Lottery with a complaint.
  • The position is also responsible for the operational execution of Lottery drawings seven days a week.
  • This position requires availability seven days per week in case there is an issue with a drawing.
  • Staff scheduling, staff training, coverage of the reception and validations functions during staff absences, lunch breaks, etc.
  • Motivation of staff and creation of a positive and professional work culture.
