OPEX Corporation needs a Software Support Specialist to provide phone and email support for their customers and field technicians, addressing a wide range of software and PC-related issues to ensure business continuity and high levels of customer support.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of current PC hardware and IT industry trends.
Responsibilities
- Specify, test, and validate new PCs and components across relevant equipment configurations.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for software applications, including Certain Scan, Batch Transform, and Insight.
- Diagnose and resolve system and network-related issues.
- Maintain and continuously improve knowledge base entries for clarity and accuracy.
- Manage inventory of spare PCs to ensure business continuity.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records within the call tracking system.
- Leverage all available resources to ensure field technicians can deliver the highest level of customer support.
