AMD's SW Ecosystem Security Engineering Team is seeking a senior systems software engineer with a focus on delivery of Confidential Compute Solution stacks enabled by AMD’s Secure Encrypted Virtualization capabilities (SEV).
Requirements
- Experience developing software in Rust, Bash Scripting, and Go Lang.
- Technical proficiency with Linux, QEMU, KVM or similar virtualization technologies.
- Proven experience across the entire software development lifecycle.
- In-depth knowledge of operating system kernels, virtualization, and security.
- Successful track record in developing and delivering code upstream in the open-source community.
- Experience collaborating with ISVs and software partners to deliver software solutions.
- Understanding of x86 computing architecture.
Responsibilities
- Write code and tests in Rust and Go that enables AMD confidential compute features in community projects such as kata containers, confidential containers, and VirTEE.
- Design and develop attestation and certification functions for the Linux and Microsoft Windows host and guest operating systems.
- Enabling SEV features in container runtimes such as confidential/kata containers.
- Contribute tests to internal & external CI projects for AMD confidential computing features.
- Provide consultation to SW partners and customers on AMD confidential compute software stack.
- Debug confidential compute software stack
- Enabling SEV features in attestation tooling such as VirTEE and third-party attestation services.
