The CIT program is seeking a project Systems Engineer Lead to support an applications development team and track new requirements and decompose them into actionable tasks for development team members to advance national security
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 yrs of experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience working with Agile development teams
- Experience working with customers to prioritize needs across a large set of stakeholders
- Ability to track and manage customer needs with an enterprise work/requirements tracking tool
- Amazon certifications (desired)
- Knowledge of the data lifecycle and data management best practice (desired)
- Experience with enterprise work/requirements tracking tools
Responsibilities
- Work with the customer and team to convert mission needs into user stories (in Jira) with well-defined acceptance criteria
- Facilitate backlog prioritization and sprint planning sessions and daily scrums
- Brief or support briefings to management and mission stakeholders
- Track and manage customer needs with an enterprise work/requirements tracking tool
- Understand the technical dependencies between user stories to facilitate the proper sequencing for scheduling of work in development sprints
- Facilitate sprint planning sessions
- Support daily scrums
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or similar or 6 additional years of experience in lieu of degree
- Must possess an active TS/SCI with required polygraph clearance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to brief senior management on high priority work items
- Ability to work in a team environment
