Abbott is looking for a Software Tech Lead to develop their next-generation cross-platform mobile application for heart failure management, aiming to improve patient health and save lives.
Requirements
- 5+ years developing apps in Flutter
- 11+ years Software development experience
- Experience deploying mobile applications to Google Play (Android) and App Store (iOS)
- Expertise in unit/integration testing and mock frameworks for Dart
- Proficiency with Flutter Dependency Injection frameworks
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, etc.) and collaborative development workflows
- CI/CD and SDLC experience
Responsibilities
- Lead Flutter mobile application software developer
- Write unit, integration and UI automated tests
- Expertise profiling mobile applications for performance including CPU usage and memory leaks
- Mentor junior developers
- Write technical documentation including but not limited to software detailed design and technical review documents
- Plan, estimate and work JIRA stories
- Extensive experience performing peer code reviews
Other
- Ability to work within a team and as a high performing individual contributor and leader in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Class III implantable medical device software development experience
- Using AI to help developer productivity
