The Boeing Company is seeking a Software Technical Analyst to support the Vertical Lift Software Development Team, focusing on software solutions for the V-22 Osprey and H-47 Chinook.
Requirements
- Experience with programming languages, tools, and applications
- Knowledge of tasking performed throughout engineering development lifecycle (requirements, design, software, test & integration)
- Experience with Ada, C, C++, C, Python, Java, SQL, LabView, DOORS, Agile, Atlassian (Confluence, Jira), or Git.
- Experience learning new tools, following detailed processes and instructions, and communicating results in both written and verbal formats
- Experience writing technical documentation.
- Experience with Software Requirements, Development and Testing.
Responsibilities
- Use software tools to generate software products (e.g., design documents, requirement specifications, software builds) and solve problems.
- Collect and input process data to support software metrics.
- Gather and analyze data to support assessment of software performance/function.
- Support the integration of software components and hardware-software integration by executing test procedures.
- Execute basic tests and document results to verify software performance and function.
- Construct, document and test moderately complex software code using software development environment tools and programming languages.

- Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance
- 2+ years of experience working in engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- 2+ years of experience with technical writing and/or process documentation
- Possible travel less than 10%
- U.S. Citizenship required for U.S. Security Clearance
