Requirements
- Advanced level proficiency in many of the enterprise and functional competency areas.
- System-Level Product Launch Expertise: Proven experience leading or contributing to the launch of complex, system-level products.
- Cross-Domain Engineering Experience: Exposure to multiple engineering domains, particularly in modern industries such as renewable energy (e.g., wind or solar) is a plus.
- Business Acumen & Market Awareness: A strong technical foundation complemented by an understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and sales processes.
- Technology-Driven with a Business Lens: A genuine passion for emerging technologies, balanced with a pragmatic approach to commercialization.
- Strategic Vision & Forward-Thinking Mindset: Ability to set a clear strategic direction in a rapidly evolving software landscape.
- College, university, or equivalent bachelor’s degree in engineering or appropriate STEM field is required.
Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility is the development of technically capable people across multiple technical sites within a business unit or corporate area and making people available to perform duties necessary to satisfy the businesses’ technical needs.
- Provides technical leadership for the business's most complex global technical challenges.
- Sets the direction for the development and improvement of work processes and systems across function(s) within a global business unit or across business units.
- Coaches and mentors, future technical leaders across a global business unit or corporate area.
- Develops strategies, creates or improves work processes involving activities such as resource allocation and management, organizational and business change, customer/stakeholder management and knowledge management;
- Plans, schedules, coordinates and executes the activities involved in developing a product to a respectively aligned hierarchy of requirements and technical profiles;
- Develops product systems validation plans from a variety of inputs to identify failure modes, while managing product risk and relative priority;

- College, university, or equivalent bachelor’s degree in engineering or appropriate STEM field is required.
- Post-graduate (Master's) degree relevant to this discipline area may be required for select roles.
- Proven leadership as a Technical Advisor or Technical/Engineering Senior Manager working in a product, technology or engineering service area with a successful track record of developing technical talent and enabling high performing teams.
