Leidos is looking for a Test Engineer to support its customers in the Defense Industry, specifically helping the Air Force Research Lab, Air Force Lifecycle Management Center, and other DoD missions by deploying cutting-edge, next-generation solutions.
Requirements
- Experience working with embedded systems
- Experience working in a SIL and HWIL environment
- Demonstrated test plan and test report writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute test plans and test reporting
- Experience in data collection and analysis to verify accuracy of test objectives met.
- Datalink/Mesh Network testing experience
- COMSEC Experience
Responsibilities
- Works with the project team to ensure testability of software and system requirements and capabilities.
- Troubleshoots software & systems
- Applies appropriate principles, standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the software development life cycle.
- Duties include software requirements analysis, analysis of hardware compatibility, development of software products and tools used for design, development and maintenance of infrastructure, and platforms
- Collaborate with Test Team members over execution of the test process.
- Collaborates with the Cybersecurity team as required to support the RMF process
- Creates test plan and procedures for embedded software to verify capabilities and requirements; including interface testing.
Other
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree in relevant field: OR additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have an active DoD TS clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
- Ability to liaise with, speak and present effectively to personnel at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a test team.
