VusionGroup is looking to expand its innovative IoT product offerings and needs an experienced Software Test Engineer to ensure the quality and seamless operation of its embedded systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software and embedded systems testing.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks and automation tools.
- Experience in scripting languages like Python for test automation.
- Familiarity with embedded hardware, data bases, and cloud systems.
- Familiarity with version control systems (like Git) and defect tracking tools (like JIRA).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in a continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans for embedded systems, performing both manual and automated testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve efficiency and validate hardware-software integration for seamless operation.
- Collaborate with the development and product teams to design detailed test plans and test cases based on product specifications, requirements, and use cases.
- Perform manual and automated testing of embedded software on hardware platforms, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts for embedded systems, ensuring scalability and efficiency in testing processes.
- Validate the integration between hardware components and software applications, identifying potential compatibility issues and ensuring seamless operation.
- Identify and document defects, bugs, and issues discovered during testing.
