Valiant Solutions is seeking Software Test Engineers to support an environmentally focused Federal Government client's agile software development practice. The agency aims to promote environmental sustainability and protect natural resources by developing and maintaining secure, accessible, and compliant information systems for tracking and reporting environmental data.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
- Experience in both manual and automated testing
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress
- Familiarity with testing tools such as TestRail, JIRA, and Jenkins
- Understanding of security standards and accessibility compliance (Section 508)
- Familiarity with load testing and performance testing methodologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality of software applications
- Lead automation testing initiatives
- Design and implement comprehensive automation strategies for large projects
- Proficiently troubleshoot complex automation issues and provide technical solutions
- Database Testing
- Implement CI/CD Pipeline automation to allow for automatic daily regression testing
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure the successful delivery of software applications
