Responsibilities
- Analyze source code using automated Software Assurance (SwA) tools and collaborate with team members on assessment results.
- Develop and execute test methodologies, scoring criteria, and test cases to support SwA tool analysis.
- Perform software testing and interface with clients to recommend effective remediation strategies.
- Create technical documentation and comprehensive test reports.
- Utilize, fine-tune, and evaluate the suitability of SwA tools for specific customer environments.
- Interpret SwA tool results to detect vulnerabilities and drive secure coding practices.
- Research and assess emerging SwA tools and methodologies to enhance software security analysis.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science or electrical engineering with 12 years of experience OR 8 years of experience with a Master’s Degree in software engineering, computer science or electrical engineering.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Constant operation of a computer and other standard office equipment such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer.
- Frequent communication with co-workers, management, and customers; may involve delivering presentations.
