The Boeing Company is looking to solve the business problem of ensuring safety, quality, and reliability of weapon system software for the Super Hornet and Growler fleet, delivering new and improved capabilities to the US Navy.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality test and evaluation
- Experience with executing test events against avionics, embedded and/or mission systems
- Experience with software integration and end to end testing methodologies
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience with software development in avionics and/or real-time embedded systems using C/C++, Ada, C and/or Java
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Ada, Java, or Python
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
Responsibilities
- Leads the design, development, and completion of test and verification of software products to ensure quality, reliability, and functionality
- Partners with stakeholders and leads the review and identification of software requirements, test objectives, test strategies, and testability
- Leads the design of test plans, cases, and scenarios to meet software requirements and specifications. Advise on the set up and configuration of test environments, including hardware, and software configuration
- Leads executing test cases and scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and safety of software systems, identifying and reporting defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities found during testing processes
- Advises on test results and feedback on software design and functionality to resolve defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities
- Leads creating, documenting, and maintaining test plans, procedures, cases, artifacts, metrics, and data in accordance with data privacy and security protocols and standards
- Leads developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes

- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
- Interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Math, or other technical degree
- Must be able to pass a drug test
