Requirements
- Entry to medium level Python or C++ coding ability.
- Entry level MATLAB and/or Simulink experience.
- Experience with Medical Product verification and FDA guidance.
- Basic understanding of creating test protocols for verifying software requirements.
- Ability to manage, track and upgrade multiple hardware and software configurations.
- Had experience testing medical devices controlled by software.
- Participated manual test or automated test script development and execution.
Responsibilities
- Tests the functionality and performance of software applications or systems software.
- Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in software applications and systems software.
- Ensures software applications or systems software meets technical and functional requirements.
- Performs workflow analysis, documents test results and recommends quality improvements.
- Works with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models.
- Reviews test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies.
- Participated manual test or automated test script development and execution.
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering is required.
- Good communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- No previous testing experience is required. Internship or CO-OP with software or system testing in similar industry is a plus.
- Must be independently mobile and able to interact with a computer, and communicate with peers and co-workers.
- Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.
