Legrand is looking for a Software Test Engineer Intern to test and automate testcases that interface with consumer electronics, third party devices, and other related systems.
Requirements
- Experience writing automation code in an integrated development environment
- Knowledge in Python and C
- Coursework in networking protocols is preferable
- Understand test automation frameworks
- Understanding of SQA methodologies and developing tests
- Knowledge in tools like Jira, Confluence
- Good debugging and troubleshooting skills
Responsibilities
- Testing firmware on devices
- User interface testing
- Create, update and execute test scenarios
- Report and manage software bugs
- Design implementation and protocol documentation
- Technical team support as well as Alpha and Beta test groups
- Utilization of the Scrum Agile software development framework
