The Intelligence Community is looking to transform the way they use technology, including cloud migration, integrating advanced technology, and modernizing legacy systems, and needs a Software Test Engineer to help achieve this goal
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software application testing
- Experience working in Linux or UNIX environments
- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile or Scrum methodologies
- Experience in test case and defect management tools, including Zephyr, JIRA, and Confluence
- Experience evaluating requirements and developing comprehensive test scenarios and procedures
- Knowledge of government contracting practices
- Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification
Responsibilities
- Designing, writing, and executing test plans and test cases with clear documentation of results
- Performing regression, functional, smoke, and integration testing
- Testing both back-end processes and front-end user interfaces and identifying and reporting usability and functional defects
- Crafting design specifications, statements of work, requirements, scripts and test cases
- Translating customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan
- Mentoring the next set of developers to help them grow into tomorrow’s solutions architects
- Helping transform the way the Intel Community uses technology

- Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to communicate effectively and convey issues, status, and progress to both technical teams and management
- Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification within 6 months of hire date
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
