Requirements
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Typescript, or JavaScript
- Experience with modern test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Jest, Postman).
- Experience using or experimenting with AI tools to enhance testing and development workflows (e.g. generating test scenarios, summarizing defect trends, or improving release readiness insights).
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and automation best practices.
- Experience using observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry, Coralogix, Datadog, New Relic) to inform QA efforts.
- Experience with AI-driven methods that elevate QA effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Define, own, and meet quality metrics, setting clear goals for automation adoption, test coverage, and process improvements to evolve the QA function strategically over time.
- Establish and maintain testing and automation standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for APIs, services, and front-end applications.
- Build scalable test frameworks and tools that improve efficiency, reliability, and developer productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Leverage observability tools (e.g., Sentry, Coralogix, Datadog) to monitor application stability, track defects in production, and feed insights back into test coverage improvements.
- Leverage AI technologies to optimize QA workflows, automating repetitive tasks, improving test case generation, accelerating root cause analysis, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
