Boeing is looking for a Software Test Engineering Manager to manage a team responsible for software test activities of the on-aircraft software and ground software used on or with the B-52H Bomber, including testing production software, research and development, and internal applications development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or test engineering
- 1+ years of experience leading or managing software engineering or testing
- Experience working in embedded software engineering aerospace environments
Responsibilities
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Software Testing
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Manages, develops and motivates employees

- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
