Cydecor needs a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to conduct verification and validation testing of web-based enterprise applications.
Requirements
- Web Development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
- Source control (GIT)
- Agile software methodologies including core ceremonies (Scrum, Backlog, Planning, Review and Retrospective)
- Advanced understanding of test plans/cases, regression/exploratory testing and requirements/defect tracking software (Azure, JIRA, etc.)
- Advanced SQL skills (draft/edit complex queries as a part of test cases)
- Automated testing (i.e. Selenium, coded implementation)
- Knowledge of data warehouse/ETL processes (e.g. IBM DataStage)
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, evaluating, and updating test scenarios, test plans, and test procedures
- Managing system integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing
- Developing executable test procedures for interface testing, device testing, data migration testing, and other areas required by the project
- Writing detailed test cases with expected results for various scenarios including positive and negative testing
- Executing testing on both web frontend systems and backend database systems
- Creating project resource estimates, defining metrics to track completion phase, defect reports, defect prevention, development efficiency, and quality
- Serving as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications

- Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of related experience (4 years of experience can be substituted for a degree)
