Leidos is seeking a Software Tool Manager to support the ACCA5JI Joint Interoperability Tactical Command and Control (JINTACCS) mission, managing and deploying the iSMART software toolset to support research and implementation of Tactical Data Link (TDL) capabilities across Department of Defense (DoD) platforms and systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with the iSMART process and toolsets.
- At least 1 year of experience with TDL networks and familiarization with applicable military standards, including US Mil-Std 3011, 6011, 6016, 6017, 6020, 6040, 188-220, and 2045-47001.
- At least 2 years of proven technical experience in organizing and managing comprehensive IT projects and associated data.
- Active Security+ Certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, track, and manage the release of the iSMART toolset across the DoD, providing updated versions according to the government's determined schedule.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the iSMART process and tools during related meetings, providing recommendations, training, and process support to document system implementation data.
- Integrate approved interface change proposals into the government-specified iSMART software tool.
- Conduct research and gather information to prepare assigned materials, including background papers, staff studies, talking papers, and presentations, for government use.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology) with a minimum of 3 or more years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a program within the U.S. Air Force.
- Current or Active DoD Secret clearance.
