Medtronic is seeking to enhance and streamline software development, testing, and quality assurance processes for Cardiac Ablation Solutions Software team
Requirements
- Knowledge of Medical device software development, IEC- 62304 and FDA guidance in a technical discipline, preferably software related
- Proven ability to automate processes and workflows in a collaborative development environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Experience working with tools like JIRA, Polarion , and TestRail, including API integration and automation.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++/ C-Sharp or similar languages
- Strong understanding of good documentation practices
- Experience with software version control systems, such as Git
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain custom tools and scripts to support software development, testing, and maintenance processes.
- Automate workflows and processes involving tools such as JIRA, Polarion , Matrix, and TestRail to optimize team efficiency.
- Develop and implement custom dashboards to monitor and assess product quality and progress during development.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, quality assurance, and technical leaders, to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Generate automated reports and test protocols that provide actionable insights into software performance and quality.
- Develop a variety of tools, scripts, and dashboards to support the team’s workflows, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and quality throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements

- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- OR Master’s degree with a minimum of 0 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial drive
- Ability to work a minimum of 4 days a week onsite
