Bcore is looking to bridge the technology gap between the Government and commercial space by igniting a technology revolution through tailored technical solutions to modernize government missions and client businesses, specifically by supporting customer missions as a Software Virtualization Engineer on the UDS contract at NGA.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with VDI technologies, including VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, or Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
• 2+ years of experience with Citrix XenApp or comparable application virtualization technology (Microsoft App-V, FlexApp, App Volumes, etc)
• Experience with Windows Desktop (10/11) and Server (2012+) Operating Systems
• Utilize scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell) to automate tasks and manage deployments.
• Experience with non-persistent desktop environments
• Experience with profile management solutions such as VMware DEM or Liquidware Labs' Profile-Unity
• Familiarity with ActiveDirectory, specifically Group Policy

Responsibilities

• Development of Virtualized Packages for Mission Baseline Applications
• Work with application testers and mission SME's to validate mission application behavior
• Incorporate any required sequencing changes into the app sequencing process
• Identify facets of user application settings (registry, AppData, etc.) that need to be persisted across sessions in a non-persistent VDI environment
• Identify automation opportunities for application sequencing and work with the engineering team to streamline the sequencing process for mission applications, once established
• Assist the virtualization team and VDI team with application delivery infrastructure configuration, as needed
• Improve backup/Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations.

Other

• Active TS (SCI eligibility) clearance and eligibility to obtain a CI poly is required upon application for initial consideration
• 8140.01M IAT Level II certification
• Requires Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of years of experience and education
• Occasional trips to the customer site in St. Louis, MO
• Onsite only, work tasks require access to customer networks
