PayCargo is looking to solve the complexities of payments and invoice processing in the logistics industry by streamlining financial workflows and improving transparency and productivity.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with web service technologies, including REST APIs, JSON, XML, and SOAP.
- Hands-on scripting or programming experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Java).
- Familiarity with integration platforms (iPaaS) like MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, or Celigo.
- Experience with EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and common logistics transaction sets (204, 214, 210, 990, etc.).
- Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Experience with authentication and authorization protocols like OAuth 2.0 and API Keys
- Experience integrating with major ERP or WMS platforms (e.g., CargoWise, Descartes, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, JDE, Microsoft Dynamics, Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder).
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions with customers to gather integration requirements, identify challenges, and define the scope of work.
- Design and architect scalable and reliable integration solutions using our APIs, EDI, webhooks, and other data exchange methods.
- Configure, develop, and deploy integrations to connect our payment solutions with customer systems like ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and financial software.
- Write and maintain scripts (e.g., in Python, JavaScript, or similar) to handle data transformation, mapping, and custom logic.
- Work extensively with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and other web service technologies.
- Configure and troubleshoot EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) transactions (e.g., 204, 990, 214, 210) for carrier and trading partner communications.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure integrations are stable, accurate, and meet performance benchmarks before go-live.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Solutions Engineer, Implementation Consultant, Integration Specialist, or Professional Services Engineer.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
