Snowflake is seeking an AI/ML and Cloud Architecture specialist to lead, curate, and maintain critical demos for their SE and Product organizations, evolving flagship demos and creating custom demonstrations using features like Snowpark ML, Snowflake Cortex, and Snowpark Container Services.
Requirements
- Work with large datasets, and perform data quality evaluation/checks
- Feature engineering
- Determine relevant features for training and evaluation
- Optimization of model performance/accuracy
- MLOps and lifecycle management
- Hands-on scripting experience with Python, with experience using libraries such as Pandas, XGBoost, PyTorch, TensorFlow, SciKit-Learn or similar.
- Experience with GenerativeAI, LLMs and Vector Databases.
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI/ML Demos using the Snowflake platform.
- Collaborate closely with the Product team to align demo creation with product releases, ensuring timely delivery of functional demos that showcase new features.
- Provide technical expertise on all aspects of Snowflake in relation to the AI/ML suite of features to sales engineering teams.
- Have a strong understanding of the data science modeling lifecycle, including model development, model training, and MLOps.
- Have a strong understanding of the GenerativeAI landscape, its use, and application.
- Have a strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), and the different architectures that are appropriate for each use case.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI/ML.
Other
- Minimum of 4 years in a Data Science role, where you will have built and deployed at least 2 models into production.
- Minimum of 5 years experience working with customers in a pre-sales or post-sales technical role.
- Outstanding skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos.
- University degree in data science, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience.
