Caterpillar is seeking a highly qualified SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Solution Lead to join our Order to Cash (OTC) team. This individual will play a pivotal role in implementing technical solutions that align with our evolving business objectives and support strategic growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients; ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations.
• Extensive knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
• Working knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations.
• Expert knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
• Extensive knowledge of major tasks, deliverables, and formal application delivery methodologies; ability to utilize these to deliver new or enhanced applications.
• Working knowledge of Architecture Modeling; ability to develop and modify enterprise architecture through conceptual, logical and physical approaches.
• Basic knowledge of technologies and technology-based solutions dealing with information security issues; ability to protect information security across the organization using encryption technologies and appropriate security software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SAP SD/OTC solutions aligned to enterprise templates and business objectives.
• Offer expert guidance to SAP SD/OTC support teams and integration partners.
• Analyze, document, and revise business processes and system logic as needed.
• Design business processes that support Caterpillar's strategic goals.
• Lead and drive complex solution implementations and provide project leadership.
• Create high-level test plans to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Design and configure pricing procedures, including condition tables and types.

• This position requires the employee to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
• This position may require 10% travel.
