Erie Insurance is looking to solve business system and solution development and support challenges by designing, building, and supporting solutions or improvements to business systems that can be accomplished through technology or alternative uses of existing technology. This role will oversee technical debt management, currency, KPIs, and optimization of people, acting as a liaison between the technical team, organization leadership, and providers, potentially managing multiple vendors.
Requirements
- Proven experience and ability to design and execute enterprise-wide advanced analytics that align with business objectives and deliver measurable value.
- Previous leadership experience overseeing an advanced analytics organization responsible for the full lifecycle of AI/ML solutions to include model development, deployment, and performance monitoring leveraging MLOps best practices.
- Experience implementing AWS analytics capabilities, including AWS Glue, Redshift, Athena, QuickSight, and SageMaker, to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Has established data cataloging, lineage tracking, and metadata management frameworks.
- Demonstrated technical competency developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines with tools like Apache Spark, Airflow and dbt.
- Proven track record for optimizing queries for performance and cost optimization.
- Expertise implementing and driving adoption of emerging analytics and AI/ML technologies, identifying automation and promoting experimentation through innovation.
