Fluxion AI is looking to optimize complex physical systems by creating AI-native solutions, and the Solutions Engineer role is intended to help design and deploy data-driven transformation strategies for critical infrastructure operators.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++)
- Familiarity with data pipelines, APIs, or cloud platforms
- Interest in AI, consulting, and the application of software to solve large-scale, complex system challenges
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope, architect, and implement AI-native solutions for clients in logistics, transportation, industrial manufacturing, and public infrastructure.
- Building and deploying prototypes, integrations, and automation pipelines that address specific operational bottlenecks.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions with clients, identifying requirements, constraints, and opportunities for AI-driven optimization.
- Support proposal development and technical documentation for large-scale engagements, including public-sector modernization projects.
- Translate technical capabilities into clear business value propositions for client decision-makers.
- Contribute to internal product development sprints, knowledge-base growth, and the design of scalable deployment methodologies.
- Present solutions and demonstrations to clients, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with strategic objectives.

- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Engineering, or Consulting program
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable balancing hands-on coding with client-facing responsibilities
- Ability to work remotely with a weekly commitment of 10–15 hours
- Ability to work in an internship role from early September 2025 to December 2025
