Capital Group is looking to solve technical problems in the Wealth/Asset Management domain, specifically in Private Client Services (PCS) applications, by providing technology leadership and end-to-end solution ownership.
Requirements
- Proficiencies in one or more: Python, .NET; Strong SQL (Postgres or equivalent)
- Experienced with cloud native development (AWS / Azure)
- Experience working in Wealth Management and/or Asset Management domain with hands on experience on FinTech platforms
- Working knowledge of AI platforms and technologies, including generative models and LLMs
- Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, including unit testing, conducting code reviews, and creating design documentation
- Developed robust and scalable backend applications and/or APIs
- Designed, built, and optimized data pipelines to collect, process, and transform data from various sources
Responsibilities
- Provide Technology Leadership and End-to-End Solution Ownership
- Design robust data integrations across internal and third-party financial applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new product features and experiences
- Identify opportunities where we can leverage GenAI and deliver customer-ready features with engineering excellence
- Provide oversight to ensure applications operate at expected service levels, proactively mitigate risks, and address issues promptly
- Work across the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization through production
- Be able, and willing, to multi-task and learn new technology and business capabilities quickly
Other
- 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience, with a Bachelor’s degree or more
- Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills, and high emotional intelligence
- Strong problem-solving skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Possesses a track record of successfully delivering enterprise-grade software into production
- Experience working collaboratively within an agile team, including test-driven development
