  • Develop and write documents describing test protocols based on PRD, IFU, Risk Mitigation Document, and other documents to test the embedded system product at Hardware - System, Sub-system, and Software levels.
  • Create test protocols to verify the product for conformance with product requirements, functional requirements, safety requirements, and User Interface requirements.
  • Create test protocols for unit, integration, system, and functional testing.
  • creation of test plan and test cases, both functional and non-functional, to ensure completeness of testing (Negative, performance, load, integration, end-to-end, and regression tests).
  • Work on the automation aspect of testing as well as writing manual testing protocols.
  • Execute protocols to ensure testability, to validate the proper functioning of the product as per the specifications and requirements.
  • Update protocols for defects resolution, software changes, and hardware upgrades and manage tracked defects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and write documents describing test protocols based on PRD, IFU, Risk Mitigation Document, and other documents to test the embedded system product at Hardware - System, Sub-system, and Software levels.
  • Create test protocols to verify the product for conformance with product requirements, functional requirements, safety requirements, and User Interface requirements.
  • Review and analyze test data for device failure analysis and Create test protocols for unit, integration, system, and functional testing.
  • Detailed analysis of requirements and creation of test plan and test cases, both functional and non-functional, to ensure completeness of testing (Negative, performance, load, integration, end-to-end, and regression tests).
  • Work on the automation aspect of testing as well as writing manual testing protocols.
  • Execute protocols to ensure testability, to validate the proper functioning of the product as per the specifications and requirements.
  • Update protocols for defects resolution, software changes, and hardware upgrades and manage tracked defects.

Other

  • Employer will accept a 3 or 4 year baccalaureate degree.
  • Up to 100% travel required.
  • Reports to company headquarters in Chicago, IL.
  • Roving employee will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S.
