Nationwide's NF Integrated Digital Services team is seeking a Data Solutions Analyst to support eB2B systems, which enable critical business processes for Annuities, Life Insurance, and Retirement Solutions lines of business, ensuring Firms and Advisors can issue new business and service their customers efficiently.
Requirements
- Advanced SQL skills
- Experience in application of data acquisition and data wrangling.
- Experience in data visualization tools, reporting and self-service analytic techniques.
- Data application and practices knowledge.
- Uses visualization and analysis techniques to present findings of data exploration exercises to stakeholders based on requirements gleaned.
- Works on profiling, mapping, and modeling tools.
- With guidance may partner with others on projects requiring data visualization.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and optimizing data solutions that support electronic order entry systems, DTCC feed transmission, and file transfer systems.
- Collaborating closely with developers, testers, and business partners to ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability across our platforms.
- Translating functional data and analytic requirements into solutions for consumption and use by the respective business or technology request or leveraging a variety of approved technologies.
- Eliciting reporting and analytic requirements from business and technology requestors to generate visualization or analysis.
- Supports implementation of data requirements and practices for an assigned area.
- Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Maps the flow of data and the business processes and/or technical interfaces which would be created or impacted and recommends solutions/adaptations.

- Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, business, statistics, math, a related field or comparable experience and education strongly preferred.
- Graduate studies in business, statistics, math, computer science or a related field are a plus.
