Requirements
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Stack for Business Intelligence (SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
- Experience with R and Python
- Experience accessing, manipulating and interpreting data to inform decision-making
- Strong knowledge of financial securities product data
- Knowledge and understanding of databases and data structures accompanied with strong analytical skills
- Strong familiarity with data warehouse design principles, including dimensional modeling
- Deep familiarity with BI software, such as Tableau and PowerBI
Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients, business owners and SME’s to help capture and formalize client requirements for data needs
- Analyze, interpret and model data (Conceptually and Logically)
- Assist with the design and development of maintainable high-performance applications from conception, through sustainment, focusing on front-end visualization capabilities
- Build intuitive analytic dashboards to provide insights
- Aid in design of new products and service offerings
- Interact with technology and operations to formulate and implement solutions to enhance existing services, create new client deliverables, or improve processes
- Develop novel data solutions to drive self-service and make data easily accessible to clients and internal partners
Other
- Minimum 8-10 years of work experience within a Financial Services domain
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related
