Requirements
- Experience with initial contract planning, contract requirements review, and Quality Management Systems relating to aircraft modification and maintenance
- Practical experience thoroughly investigating issues and escapes in a methodical manner utilizing Quality Root Cause Analysis Tools
- Familiarity with MS Office products
- Familiarity with Quality and Aerospace industry standards (ISO9001:2015, AS9100D, DCMA 8210, etc.) and respective principles and processes
- Experience with Military and FAA Certification efforts is preferred
- Solumina experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Identifying, assigning, and monitoring quality requirements for parts and assemblies procured from Vendors/Suppliers on assigned programs
- Monitoring performance of assigned programs, including supplier’s performance, and facilitating corrective and preventative actions
- Coordinating corrective and preventative actions with customer representatives and company management
- Conducting special investigations as required, resulting in a well written report(s) suitable for submission to Senior Management/Leadership
- Presenting Quality related data, investigation summaries, trends, and significant issues at various compliance board meetings as required
Other
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret security clearance
- Ability to access ITAR controlled items and/or articles
- Ability to consistently and accurately manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed, clear reports
- Must have excellent technical writing, oral communication, and presentation skills for reporting and briefing Customers and Sr. Leadership
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
