The Fixed Income Trading team at Schwab is looking to enhance its trading platform to provide a best-in-class trading experience for both internal and external clients, ensuring high security, availability, and excellent customer service through continuous enhancement and maintenance of their systems.
Requirements
- Test Automation frameworks using AI Automation
- BDD Gherkin framework expertise to develop automation coverage (unit, functional, regression)
- Object Oriented languages Java, Python REST APIs and Async processing
- messaging processing like IBM MQ / Kafka
- Atlassian Tools (Bitbucket, Jira, Zephyr, Bamboo)
- cloud computing technologies (Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Google Cloud Platform)
- ETL and data validation for comprehensive end-to-end testing, including functional, integration, performance, and security testing
- BDD, TDD and CI/CD practices
- SQL and relational database experience
Responsibilities
- Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks and building test scenarios and acceptance tests
- Design and maintain an automation framework supporting multiple applications across multiple platforms
- Work with the development team to understand the application architecture to access risk and integration points in order to develop good test cases
- leading your fellow engineers in writing effective tests and constantly challenge yourself to improve overall test coverage
- create your own REST services and are familiar with parsing JSON and XML
- deliver test metric visibility to stakeholders
- Iterative test development and working as part of a distributed engineering team
