Requirements
- Skilled with embedded C/C++, object-oriented design, real-time, multi-threaded programming
- Experience with real-time operating systems (e.g. VxWorks RTOS, Linux, QNX)
- Experience in debugging multi-threaded systems
- Ability to quickly analyze and understand large and complex existing software systems
- Ability to develop software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation
- Ability to identify, track, and repair software defects
- Experience with Git/Bitbucket
Responsibilities
- designs, develops and extensively tests complex engineering solutions for advanced tactical radio operating system and waveform software
- Works closely with cross-functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system
- Participates in all phases of the software development life cycle
- Skilled with embedded C/C++, object-oriented design, real-time, multi-threaded programming
- Experience with real-time operating systems (e.g. VxWorks RTOS, Linux, QNX)
- Experience in debugging multi-threaded systems
- Ability to develop software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation

- Ability to clearly and succinctly convey information and ideas
- Ability to obtain a US security clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience developing real-time embedded software in C or C++ . Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience developing real-time embedded software in C or C++ .
