L3Harris is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mid Level Engineer to join their innovative technology team to play a crucial role in developing and enhancing software solutions that contribute to the strategic objectives of the organization.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Windows and UNIX based platforms (examples CENTOS/ROCKY/RHEL 8)
- Proficient at JavaFX/Java, Kotlin, C-Sharp, C++ or another programming language
- Knowledge of software control mechanisms (examples BitBucket, Git)
- Knowledge of task/problem tracking systems (example JIRA)
- Proven experience in Android Studio, Magic Leap 2 AR Glasses, and Unity development environment.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (examples Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing software applications, enhancing user experience and system performance.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
