FlightSafety International is looking to develop, maintain, and improve software framework solutions using specialized platform knowledge and experience to support their aviation training services and operations.

Requirements

  • Proficient development experience in with ServiceNow platform, or similar
  • Strong experience and knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Solid understanding of Web Development: HTML5 and Angular JS or similar JavaScript libraries
  • Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Web Services, etc.)
  • Experience in API integration and troubleshoot API issues.
  • Experience with ServiceNow application development including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, CMDB, Discovery, Asset and Service Request Fulfillment
  • Experience creating assets (CI), managing assets, with MID Servers, SAMP, discovery troubleshooting, and scripting

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop product specification, system design, development, and system integration for new and existing software applications using specific platform knowledge (i.e., SAP, ABAP, CAD, API, Syteline ERP, etc.)
  • Assist senior engineers in the design of new software product concepts and development; create and test product prototypes
  • Integrate ServiceNow with applications such as Delinea, SailPoint, and other security or enterprise application
  • Conduct new technology research and concept specifications to influence the design of individual software components
  • Monitor, configure, and improve integration with COTS platforms
  • Consult with users on problem determination and provide root cause analysis in a timely manner
  • Provide 24x7 on-call support, after-hours, and weekend work as needed

  • Collaborate with cross-functional areas on products and programs that will contribute to FSI's strategic direction, development, and future growth
  • Accountable and responsible for the accuracy and completeness of assigned work and results
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a software development role
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
