PwC's clients need help meeting their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business, and the company is looking for a Senior Associate to provide tax consulting services to achieve year-to-year consistency and optimal cash savings for clients.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of the tax issues associated with Research and Development
- Skilled technical abilities with research credit regulations from the IRS, research credit case law, and utilizing R&D databases
- Ability to work with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools
- Ability to review contracts and find opportunities to introduce new pricing options
- Innovating through new and existing technologies, experimenting with digitization solutions
- Utilizing R&D databases
- Research credit regulations from the IRS
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs
- Act as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners
- Help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties
- Provide advice on tax implications of deals
- Identify qualifying cash tax savings and refund opportunities
- Gauge the impact of deductions and credits on the effective tax rate
- Manage engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents

- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years of experience
- Commitment to obtain one of the following certifications: CPA, Member of State Bar, Enrolled Agent, Master's – Engineering, Professional Engineer or other professional certifications approved for the practice before being promoted to Manager
- Up to 20% travel required
