Kaiser Permanente is looking to hire a Speech Clinical Fellowship Year Intern for their Pediatrics Rehab Services department to provide evaluation and treatment for communication disorders, aiming to improve patient quality of life.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology required by date of hire.
- Speech-Language Pathology Required Professional Experience License - Temporary (California) required at hire
- National Provider Identifier required at hire
- Basic Life Support required at hire
Responsibilities
- Provides assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders for both adult and pediatric populations.
- Administers diagnostic tests and implements appropriate treatments.
- Advises physicians and patients of test results.
- Trains for competency on performing videofluroscopic swallow studies.
Other
- This is a 9-12 month internship program.
- Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
- May travel to Clovis and Selma locations.
