vineyard vines is looking for motivated college students to assist in day-to-day operations within their designated department, provide support to other departments, and handle administrative tasks to ensure smooth functioning of the corporate headquarters.

Requirements

  • Skilled in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Proficient in Excel

Responsibilities

  • Assist design team with all aspects of the design process
  • Organize samples and trims by maintaining trim library
  • Sketch and update CADs in Illustrator after meetings and fittings
  • Update and organize various binders for fabrics/CADs/trims/artwork
  • Organize and file paperwork and samples
  • Maintain functional and organized office space by helping to file paperwork, trims, fabrics and color swatches and hang/organize samples
  • Complete ad hoc projects and responsibilities as needed

Other

  • Attending school for design with a strong interest in apparel and or print/pattern design
  • STRONG organizational skill
  • Eager to learn
  • A passion for the vineyard vines brand and lifestyle
  • Great communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Flexibility and open-mindedness
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential company materials
  • Strong interpersonal communication

  • This internship is for credit only and you must be able to provide the appropriate paperwork from your school in order to be considered
  • Able to come into the office on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday (2x a week)
  • We work with your class and extracurricular schedule to determine your internship schedule. Please note: we recommend working two full 8 hour days and one 4 hour half day.
  • Spring internships can be up to 15 weeks long with a max of 20 hours per week
  • Spring internships slated to start mid to late-January
