The SQL Analyst and Report Developer role is to write and optimize SQL statements for data processing from different sources. This role inspects, cleans, models data to discover useful information the business might need, and collects requirements from business to convert them into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency knowledge of TSQL language to query data, create views, functions, triggers, and stored procedures.
- In-depth understanding of entity relationship design, data normalization, relational databases and modeling techniques
- Excellent understanding of principles and best practices to build OLTP and OLAP
- Deep knowledge of information technology infrastructure such as databases and web server technologies, security, etc.
- Highly skilled at debugging and optimizing large, complicated SQL statements.
- Strong knowledge of T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, PowerBI
- Healthcare experience working with Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) solutions would be a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive views, functions, triggers, and procedures to implement complex data processing.
- Develop, maintain, monitor, and optimize the performance of OLTP queries.
- Perform data research, analysis, conceptual and logical data modeling to solve data issues.
- Design and automate reports using (SSRS) Report Builder and PowerBI.
- Design and implement highly distributed, scalable processes to extract, manipulate, stage, and ingest data using T-SQL language and/or (SSIS) Integration Services
- Understand data needs and construct data pipelines for automating and accelerating data delivery multiple sources.
- Collaborate closely with other developers, and other departments to identify key business processes and deliver viable solutions.

- Not a remote position - Authorization to work in the US is required
- University degree or College diploma in the field of computer science and 3-5 years related experience.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and/or participating in professional societies.
- Healthcare experience related to data analysis would be a plus.
- Conventional understanding of applicable data privacy practices, HIPPA regulations, Healthcare laws would be a plus.
