Hawkes Learning is seeking a SQL Developer to support internal operations and development teams by creating and maintaining robust database solutions and reports that drive informed decision-making and efficient processes. The role aims to enhance the learning environment through data accuracy, performance optimization, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in SQL development and database management.
- Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
- Experience Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with CRM platforms like HubSpot.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and database optimization techniques.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and distribute custom reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Generate ad hoc reports based on requests from leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Perform database updates outside the scope of standard application functionality.
- Refactor and optimize database objects to improve performance and scalability.
- Support development teams with SQL tasks and provide technical assistance.
- Execute end-of-semester data purges to maintain database hygiene.
- Create and maintain application databases across all development environments.
