Collegis Education is looking for a SQL Developer to support the software development life cycle by delivering data solutions that meet the enterprise's decision-making needs, including analyzing reporting requirements, working with the enterprise data model, and integrating data from multiple sources.
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience of either Microsoft Flows, SQL queries or Visual Studio .net.
- Experience with SSIS and SSRS
- General development knowledge of variables, arguments, control logic, exception handling, debugging, etc.
- Solid understanding of development and programming best practices.
- Ability to translate standard requirements into technical tasks.
- Experience working with API’s is preferred.
- Knowledge of Higher Education practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various systems.
- Design and create both standard and ad hoc reports using SQL and reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or Crystal Reports).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify reporting requirements.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data in all reports; assist end users to understand data validation and reconciliation.
- Maintain and improve existing reports, dashboards, and queries based on changing business needs.
- Troubleshoot reporting issues, analyzing data discrepancies, and propose solutions.
- Work closely with database administrators and data engineers to ensure performance and reliability of data sources.
