Brandt Information Services is looking for a SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain databases that power their enterprise-scale software solutions for state wildlife and parks agencies, aiming to streamline the outdoor recreation experience and contribute to conservation efforts.
Requirements
- Experience in T-SQL
- Experience using SSRS to create reports
- 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining SQL databases in production environments.
- Proficiency with stored procedures, triggers, and performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or automated deployment for databases.
- Expertise in database design, optimization, and data warehousing or ETL frameworks.
- Advanced skills in query performance tuning, indexing strategies, and data migration.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain databases, stored procedures, triggers, and views.
- Analyze system requirements, client needs, and data models to architect scalable and secure database solutions.
- Collaborate closely with software development teams to integrate SQL logic into application features, ensuring seamless data flow
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities that support both customer needs and internal business objectives.
- Design and deliver actionable, data-driven reports that provide clear insights, support decision-making, and align with business objectives.
- Implement data fixes and enhancements to ensure accuracy, reliability, and responsiveness to customer and internal requests.
- Troubleshoot database performance issues, including query optimization and indexing strategies.
