Accurate and timely reporting of Refined Products Acquisition and Marketing (RPAM) general ledger balances
Requirements
- Strong business computer skills
- Ability to learn and document processes
- SAP experience preferred
- Experience in the oil/gas industry is desired, but not required
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all manual journal entries posted for the RPAM butane blending activities
- Responsible for month end close related duties specifically around the inventory and COGS financial statement lines
- Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet general ledger account reconciliations
- Perform intercompany reconciliations
- Responsible for monthly profit share accrual calculations and true-up entries after payment has been made
Other
- Must have strong communications skills (verbal and written)
- Must be willing to provide overtime hours support as necessary particularly around month-end reporting
- Must be able to identify the root cause(s) of accounting issues and be able to correctly resolve issues
- Must have a Bachelor degree in Accounting preferred
- Must have 2-5 years of relevant job related experience for the Specialist/Analyst level
