Honeywell is looking to solve complex software challenges within their Productivity Solutions and Services business by hiring a Sr. Advanced Software Engineer to design, develop, and integrate highly complex software functions and generate innovative solutions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development or software engineering experience
- 4+ years of object-oriented development experience
- 4+ years of advanced software development experience with Java, C-Sharp, or comparable
- Experience with Honeywell Voice-based products or related technologies.
- Android Mobile application development experience.
- Experience in developing applications using various development tools/systems (e.g. Git, C-Sharp, .NET, experience with MAUI a plus)
- Practical knowledge and use of development IDEs and source code tools
Responsibilities
- Understand, estimate, review, and resolve software/build/field/internal requests.
- Work with internal leadership, project management, and offering teams to estimate and plan product updates and feature requests.
- Design, develop and work with internal and external teams on creation and deployment of new features.
- Convey results of design investigations to stakeholders in order to help drive future product direction.
- Support full software lifecycle activities including supporting/addressing customer and field escalations, troubleshooting, and patch releases.
