Lenovo's CTO Organization is seeking a Senior Engineer, AI Infrastructure to pioneer energy-efficient computing across heterogeneous GPU/CPU clusters and data center environments. In this role, you will lead R&D and build production-grade power monitoring and predictive analytics solutions that optimize AI workloads end-to-end—from hardware manufacturing considerations through data center operations—reducing environmental impact while improving performance.
Requirements
- Data center operation or AI infra monitoring.
- DCIM or Linux kernel software developer background.
- High Performance Computing (HPC).
- GPU/CPU energy efficiency optimization.
- AI tasks energy efficiency and optimization.
- AI Workload characterization and performance analysis.
- Direct experience with NVIDIA GPU software stacks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cutting-edge research on energy-efficient management of heterogeneous computing clusters.
- Build power monitoring, predictive analytics and energy-efficient software solutions for AI Infra.
- Work closely with cross-functional World-Wide teams, transfer R&D outcomes into commercial products and solutions.

- This role will be Hybrid in Morrisville, NC. This candidate will work three days onsite and two days remotely.
- A Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience with Sustainable Computing.
- Fluent in both spoken English and Mandarin.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex, open-ended challenges.
