SC Johnson is looking for a Sr. Analyst, Data Analytics to lead data analytics and visualization initiatives to support continuous improvement and operational excellence at the Bay City site, transforming complex data into actionable insights.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Experience with writing SQL queries, Power Automate, RPA, or other data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Experience working with large datasets and integrating data from multiple systems.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or supply chain environments.
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with lean, engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to understand data needs and deliver impactful analytics solutions.
- Lead data analysis projects to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
- Integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., SAP, MES, Excel) to create unified and automated reporting solutions.
- Mentor and support production teams in data analysis and reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting platforms.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable reporting solutions.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Military experience considered in lieu of education requirement.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to present insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
