NBCUniversal's Media Group is looking for a Senior Analyst, Distribution Measurement & Data Products to ensure data and reporting solutions for distribution partnerships are accurate, reliable, and launch-ready, enabling smarter decisions and more effective deal outcomes.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets; experience with Databricks (or similar platforms) strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with BI tools—ideally Tableau—to build, maintain, and troubleshoot dashboards and visualizations
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot data issues and follow through with thoughtful problem-solving
- Experience working with data product or data engineering teams
- Experience with project management, issue tracking and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
- Build SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate data from large-scale data sources
- Support reporting requirement gathering for new distribution launches

- Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics partners to ensure reporting reflects current data availability and business analytic needs

- Develop a deep understanding of NBCU distribution deal constructs to inform performance measurement and guide reporting needs
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative environment with multiple workstreams while maintaining a highly organized work slate
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in explaining technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or analytical field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science)
