T. Rowe Price is seeking to support operational processes for blockchain-based assets and cryptocurrencies, focusing on trade settlement, reconciliation, and custody within the context of its innovative financial products.
Requirements
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (SEC, CFTC, etc.) governing digital assets
- Experience working with institutional digital asset investment managers, custodians or liquidity providers
- Familiarity with digital asset platforms
- Proficiency with reconciliation tools, data management, and Excel
- Experience with digital asset platforms or APIs a plus
- Familiarity with other product types (i.e. Fixed Income, Equity, Derivatives, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate trade capture, settlement, and reconciliation of digital asset transactions across custodians and counterparties.
- Liaise with custodians, liquidity providers, and internal teams to resolve operational exceptions.
- Collaborate with portfolio management, front office, compliance, and technology teams to perform continued review/enhancement of controls and risk mitigation.
- Support onboarding and integration of new service providers and perform due diligence/oversight of existing vendors.
- Assist with development, operational support, and documentation of procedures for new asset launches.
- Track regulatory developments and industry best practices affecting digital assets.
- Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and control enhancements.

- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Dedicated, want to learn new things, have a proven track record managing operational processes, identifying control gaps and a commitment to improvement, leading projects and managing internal/external stakeholders

- High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
