Requirements

  • Proficiency in any of the following: Perl, Windows, Oracle/SQL, HTML, CGI, Unix/Linux, CSH, Cron, Python, Java
  • Experience in analyzing and documenting
  • Application support and application developer
  • Strong programming and debugging skills
  • Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the software development team to design, code, and test software solutions, focusing on developing and maintaining critical components.
  • Support in the application and development.
  • Work with senior team members to meet project requirements and deadlines, actively participating in design and code reviews.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting and problem-solving in software development, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Participate in the development and documentation of software requirements and specifications.
  • Debug and resolve complex production issues, working closely with senior engineers and support teams.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices, researching and proposing innovative solutions.

Other

  • Must be bilingual, with proficiency in both English and Spanish
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in the industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role and years of experience in software engineering
  • Good team collaboration and communication abilities
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • The client is in a controlled goods program environment and must comply with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which mandates that all applicants be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.
