The Sr Analyst Supply Chain Data and Analytics is responsible for gathering and analyzing complex data sets from purchase order, accounts payable, general ledger and other relevant data to identify and determine operational impact, trends, and track supply chain opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years knowledge of MS Excel, SQL, and Access
  • 3+ years of progressive data science experience in healthcare supply chain and / or finance
  • Knowledge of Power BI
  • SAS, Tableau, Alteryx a plus
  • Proficiency in SQL, or PL/SQL including but not limited to various types of joins and complex queries
  • Ability to understand simple and complex data structures
  • Ability to use data visualization tools such as Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server and/or Prep & Power Query, Power BI Desktop etc. for effective Data Driven Storytelling

Responsibilities

  • Gathering and analyzing complex data sets from purchase order, accounts payable, general ledger and other relevant data
  • Identify and determine operational impact, trends, and track supply chain opportunities
  • Utilize complex technical tools and applications to track a wide variety of simultaneous work streams
  • Prepare concise status reports
  • Organize, cleanse, and analyze supply chain data and connect from multiple sources
  • Identify key performance metrics, cost analysis, PO spend, and opportunities for product standardization
  • Design and produce scheduled reports, dashboards, and other ad hoc requests

Other

  • Hospital or Supply Chain experience preferred
  • Ability to lead large-scale complex data projects
  • Work situations are highly varied, requiring maturity, high degree of attention to detail and independent decision-making
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple complex issues simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts and persuade others up to and including executive level

  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic and the ability to perform daily tasks with minimal supervision
